Update!

Dad recently told me that I haven’t really updated my blog with anything pertaining to the UK.  This is for several reasons:

1) hell week starts on monday (week before finals)

2) I’ve been screen printing posters non stop.  When I’m not screen printing, I’m probably sleeping or working on something else

3) the digital camera has stopped functioning.  It will only allow me to take 5 pictures before having to upload them.  I need to invest in another memory card that works… thus, no photos

4) I’m freeeeeaking out about what I have to get done before the end of the term!

Art school is awesome because there are no finals to study for.  However, I have to have a finished portfolio as well as uniform photographs of each piece compiled into a PDF and sent to the school by 11 AM on the 15th.  On the 18th (D-day), I’ll stand before two professors and walk them through the artwork I’ve made all semester (theory, research, inspiration, etc.) in 5 minutes.  I then get 5 minutes of questions from the panel, then I step out for 10 minutes for them to look at my work and come up with my grade for the term.  No pressure.

It’s a race to the finish, I am halfway done with my final project, and I still need to re-design at LEAST 1 project.  Also, the grades they give here are significantly LOWER than what I’m used to in the states (typically 10% lower).

aieeeeeeeeee
