This weekend!

Everything’s been great… visited the Tate Modern with Diana yesterday, and afterwards we ate A REAL MEAL!  So exciting!  We went to a sit-down restaraunt and ordered steak and fries and I got a glass of wine.  So good!

Went out last night to a monthly event called Scared to Dance (on Kevin’s suggestion), where they play popular indie music over the last 30 years.  It was a lot of fun!  There was a lot of dancing and a lot of good music (Belle and Sebastian, Gang of Four, Beach Boys, Jens Lekman, etc.)  AND NO GIRL FIGHTS!!!

Today Diana and I went to the Brick Lane market (I’ve been every weekend now, and I’m a bit sick of it now) to buy some nice leather bags.  Over our time spent here, we’ve decided that we’re going to buy A) leather bags to hold our notebooks/computers when we go to class and look super fabulous and B) tan leather shoes.  Our ultimate plan is to become british.

After Brick Lane I sold one of my polaroid cameras to a british guy off of craigslist (first time selling something!  Usually I just buy) and I made £45!  Not bad, considering I couldn’t sell them in the states!

A lot to look forward to this week: I get to start my screen printing induction, which is all day on Monday, Thursday, and Friday along with working some more on my second major school project.  AND learning German from youtube tutorials.  Until next time… guten nacht!
