Classes have been going really well… my first assignment is to create a new written language and to transcribe something. AWESOME!

We had to do a mini-example of our project in class to prove to the tutor (professor) that we understood the assignment. She loved mine, and said that it was the most true to the rules of the prompt. Hooray!

I love art school, because they don’t sugar coat anything. If your work is bad, they actually TELL YOU. Amazing. Back at my home college, they would be encouraging, but wouldn’t tell you that it needs improving. It’s very frustrating, but here they are frank and forward. Can I stay forever?

As of friday, I have also opened a bank account, I feel even more british now. AND free currency conversions!

Last night Kevin and I were looking at places to visit… we’re thinking Zurich and somewhere in Germany. Turns out it’s cheaper to rent a flat then it is to stay in a hotel (I thought it would have been the opposite).

In 15 mins I’ll be heading out to Brick Lane, the trendy shopping/flea market area to walk around and take photos. Everyday is exciting in London!
