dinnah at Sketch. Egg bathrooms and french maids. Would you care to go to Switzerland? No thanks, I’ve got homework.
Oh man.
So yesterday, I get my suitcase! Yay! And got to hang out with my family friend, which was really nice. Seeing a familiar face was really comforting, which took me by surprise, as I’ve felt that I’ve been fairly well adjusted thus far. Nevertheless, hanging out with her was a blast.
She said that she hasn’t taken the tube since she was 16 (she’s been to london several times since then, but never on the tube) so I figured we’d give it a go. She was quite the trooper, especially since we went during rush hour and things got a bit squished.
We got off at Oxford to go to Sketch, which is this really cool/fancy/arty restaurant with awesome decor. One of the best parts are the bathrooms:

they’re pods. Uh huh.
But yes, the whole time I hung out with my family friend was amazing. She also offered to fly me to Switzerland for the next day, but I had to turn her down since I had my first major project/briefing class day then. The Swiss will have to wait.
