haven’t posted on here in a while… stuff’s been going on. Mom’s been in ICU since thursday. Just got back to school yesterday and I plan on continuing the semester (to some people’s dismay). Seems that I’ve lost two parents, as I would hate to bother seth with any of the mundanities of my life (like being low on S-dollars, a need for printer ink, etc.) and instead have been using my own money for stuff. Hey, whatever I can do to help out.

That aside, all of my professors have been really understanding. One in particular recommended that I take an incomplete in his class. At first I was offended and was upset over his lack of sympathy, but then I came to realize that it was just a suggestion… better to drop a class and succeed then to keep them all and be miserable. Ah well. I’m going to power through this week and see how I do.

I really should be doing homework… but I don’t WANT to! Ugh. Concentration’s a bit difficult over the last few days… I know it’s because of what’s happened since thursday, but I have a feeling that I’m just letting it get to me and I’m using it as an excuse. I know I can do better. I don’t need any crutches. I may suffer from bee stings and nosebleeds, but I’m getting back on that swingset.
